The fresh Spirulina will be washed and drain the excess water, it will be collected in food cloth bags and heading to the modified spinning machine to simply remove its moisture.

Harvesting

This method is preferably done by human intervention and to avoid contamination this phase must be a delicate process requires precision and full attention.

  • To harvest fresh spirulina biomass, it essential to remove the liquid inside the cultivation tank into the harvesting mesh bag, a tight nylon filter of 40- 60 microns is use to separate the biomass of spirulina from liquid culture.
  • The filter liquid will be introduced back to the tank again as the volume of salinity and nutrient rich remained will be determined to feed Spirulina so it grows back again.

Packaging: Fresh/Frozen
